He had been working for a major recruiting company for 8 years and leads the consumer goods industry as a top recruiter. After that, he established his own company in 2013. In the course of his career, he has placed over 300 executive candidates.

Shanieka began her career in the banking industry in Jamaica before deciding to broaden her horizons by moving abroad where she transitioned to the education sector. Through her experience in education, she developed a deep cultural understanding of Japan, in addition to well-rounded skills in communication, presentation, and relationship-building.
Through her experience teaching business clients, Shanieka developed a passion for helping others in their professional growth which led her to recruitment. Kateryna joined HOSHIKAWA K.K. in October 2023. She has graduated with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Essex, UK. During her studies, she worked for a specialized division of PLF International where she gained skills that are useful in recruiting.
In 2020 she decided to change her profession and life. She moved to Japan and started her new career in the Education sector where she continued to work for 3 years, developing new curriculum concepts and building long lasting connections. Kateryna's negotiation skills, wide range of experiences, global mindset and creative solutions will allow her to contribute to relationship building with clients at top-tier companies in Japan.

Sophia joined HOSHIKAWA K.K. in November 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Major in Programming. She studied Japanese at Ichikawa Japanese Language Institute in Chiba, Japan. She worked for Hewlett-Packard as an IT Engineer, catering to clients around the globe. This experience has been useful for market research in recruiting. She has worked with Heads of Consultancies and Teams of experienced Associate Recruiters, helping them deliver on client briefs by sourcing and building relationships with candidates at various levels and supporting the recruitment process for both permanent and contract positions. She was responsible for a wide range of research and market mapping in various types of industries across the Asia Pacific including Consumer Goods, FMCG, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Automotive, and Information Technology Markets.

2022年3月HOSHIKAWA.K.K入社。短期大学部を卒業後、介護福祉士として高齢者施設にて10年間勤務。その後ニュージーランドにて一年間在住。受付事務の経験を経て事務作業だけでなくチームマネジメントもする中で、人をサポートすることにやりがいを感じ、より幅広い分野にて活躍したいと思い転職を決意。海外から帰国後コロナ渦の中転職活動をした際に、自分自身もサポートして頂いた経験もあり、「次は私が誰かのサポートをしたい」と思い、人材業界に興味を持つキッカケになりました。

Maki joined HOSHIKAWA K.K. in March, 2022. She spent a year in New Zealand after working at an elderly care facility for 10 years. Through her work experience in New Zealand, which included team management, she found supporting people rewarding and decided to change jobs to work in a wider range of fields. After returning to Japan during the pandemic, she became interested in the recruiting industry from her own experience of job hunting and receiving recruiting support, which led her to think that next time it was her turn to support others.
She decided to join HOSHIKAWA K.K. because she believes a career change from a different industry is one option to respond to these changing times. She aims to create an environment where all team members can work comfortably by responding flexibly to changes in working styles and new IT systems. She also wants to work closely with candidates taking into account the needs of client companies. She will contribute to and support Hoshikawa K.K. as a general affairs worker by actively absorbing new knowledge of the recruiting industry while utilizing communication and support skills developed in her previous jobs.
